2020 has been a year like no other, with many Australian families doing it tougher than ever before. That’s why Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) is determined to bring much needed reprieve to those who are struggling this Christmas, by pledging a donation of $100,000 across three essential charities who are making an impact with families right across Australia; The Salvation Army, Beyond Blue and Lifeline Australia.

For over 140 years, The Salvation Army has been at the forefront supporting Australian families in need with their nationwide initiatives and support campaigns, working directly with those who need support the most. 

Recognising that not all struggles are monetary or physical, Beyond Blue provides much-needed support to those experiencing anxiety, depression or suicide. 

Operating 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, Lifeline Australia provides crisis support and emotional assistance to those in need, not only via telephone, but via text and online.

The donation towards these three impactful charities, will see that some much-needed support and joy will go to families and those who are doing it tough this Christmas.

With 2020 shaping up to be quite different to previous years, IUA Managing Director, Mr. Hiroyasu Sato, has made the decision that IUA should give back to those in need this Christmas.

“Traditionally, we would invest in a Christmas advertising campaign, but we feel that given that this year has been tough for most, we would much rather give back to those in need, which is why we’re giving that money instead to The Salvation Army, Beyond Blue and Lifeline Australia.” said Mr Sato.

Recognising that Christmas is only Christmas when it is shared with others, IUA would like to encourage the community to show their support towards not-for-profit organisations, like The Salvation Army, Beyond Blue and Lifeline Australia, who are making a difference this Christmas. 

Beyond the support for these three charities this Christmas, Isuzu UTE Australia also work year round with some fantastic family-focused charities such as Daniel Morecombe Foundation and 4 ASD Kids, which IUA also encourages the community to support these great causes as well.
