Engineered for a wide range of uses, including commuting and long distance travel, the RZ4E-TC 1.9L turbo-diesel engine delivers linear and progressive torque across the entire rev-range. With a combined-cycle fuel consumption rating of only 7.4L/100km#, the 1.9L powered MU-X models can travel upwards of 1,000km on a single tank.

1.9L Power & Performance

The Isuzu RZ4E-TC 1.9L turbo-diesel engine offers reliable driveability and performance, particularly when carrying a heavy load or towing. Generating 110kW of power and 350Nm of torque, available from just 1,600 through to 2,600rpm, delivering an impressive 3.0+ tonne braked towing capacity.

1.9L MU-X COLOURS

The 1.9L MU-X range is available in 6 striking colours. If you’re looking to stand out from the crowd,
the Galaxy Blue Mica and Moonstone White Pearl are exclusive to the LS-U model.

The 1.9L engine produces 110Kw and 350Nm of torque at 3,600rpm. Compared to the 4JJ3-TCX 3.0 litre turbo-diesel engine Isuzu also uses in their 4×4 vehicles, it’s down on power 30kW and 100Nm of torque. It really doesn’t seem like this would be a good engine package on paper, but I was surprised at the performance of the little 1.9 litre.
