ABOUT THE DAY

Are you ready to take your towing skills to the next level? Isuzu UTE Australia would like to invite you to join us for an exclusive towing training course that will teach you the fundamental skills required to tow safely, and confidently. Whether you're an experienced tow truck operator or first time caravanner, this course is designed to provide you with the comprehensive knowledge and hands-on training you need. Our team of seasoned professionals will guide you through essential techniques, safety protocols, and towing strategies to give you the solid foundations of towing, all in a safe, controlled training environment.

Want to take a look at what the day has in store? Watch our Event recap video from our Towing event in Mt Cotton, QLD below.

Australian Automotive Research Centre (AARC) is located about 125km Southwest of Melbourne, and it takes approximately 1.5 hours to drive from the CBD. It is a purpose-built driving facility which offers the best conditions to test your D-MAX or MU-X’s on-road towing capabilities in a safe and secure environment.

THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL

The day will be made up of both essential towing theory and plenty of time behind the wheel hooked up to your tow device on the bitumen. At the start of the day, all drivers will attend a short presentation by our accredited trainer. Drivers will then be put to the test, gaining practical skills and a new level of confidence with their towing abilities.

WHO'S INVITED

This one-day event is open to all Isuzu D-MAX or MU-X 4x4 or 4x2 owners. Have you recently purchased your MU-X, or D-MAX or have you taken the leap and purchased that caravan to do the big lap or your dream boat? If yes, this course will be perfect to get you started, setting you up with the fundamentals to tow correctly and giving you the confidence to 'Go Your Own Way'.

The event fee covers two people, preferably both licenced drivers, and all participants are to be strictly 12 years or over to suit the event activities of the day. Please note that you must bring your own towed item or hire one for the purpose of this training. No pets are allowed at the event.
