Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) is proud to announce it has renewed its Major National Partnership with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
This significant collaboration, which began in 2023, has successfully delivered improved healthcare outcomes in some of Australia’s most remote locations through financial support and the provision of a fleet of Isuzu D-MAX and MU-X vehicles.
IUA Managing Director, Mr Junta Matsui said the continuation of the partnership reflects the meaningful impact it has delivered to date.
“This partnership has already made a genuine difference, and IUA is proud to continue working alongside the RFDS as it delivers essential services to those in regional, rural and remote communities.”
“Giving back to the communities that support us is important to IUA, and extending this partnership allows us to continue recognising the RFDS for its tireless service through ongoing support of its mission, education and community engagement initiatives.”
Chief Executive Officer RFDS Federation Emma Buchanan said the impact of the partnership to date has been profound.
“Isuzu UTE Australia’s ongoing support has been instrumental in helping us deliver on our mission, and this contract renewal reinforces the trust and shared purpose between our organisations,” Ms. Buchanan said.
The contract renewal between IUA and the RFDS reflects the strength of the partnership and the alignment between our two organisations with respect to supporting regional, rural and remote communities across Australia.
"This is much more than a sponsorship, it’s a strategic relationship built on collaboration, mutual respect, and a collective commitment to creating a positive impact across the rural and remote communities in which we operate and serve."
“The contract renewal ensures this important work can continue and provides a strong foundation for future potential joint initiatives.”
Isuzu D-MAX and MU-X vehicles have been an important part of the RFDS’s community engagement, towing the organisation’s state-of-the-art training simulators around the country for its Flying Doctor Education Program and a range of national events.
The RFDS is a national, charitable health organisation delivering primary health care and 24-hour emergency services for those living and travelling in rural and remote Australia.
The organisation also provides dental and mental health services in locations across the country.
The RFDS operates 89 aircraft which makes us the third largest airline by fleet in Australia. These planes, along with 279 road vehicles, use 23 bases to provide the finest care to the furthest corners of the country.
