The Best of The Best: Isuzu UTE Australia Welcomes a Generation of Master Technicians
10 November 2025
Seven Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) technicians from Dealerships across the country have become the first qualified Master Technicians in the brand’s history. The graduates are the first to complete Isuzu UTE Australia’s in-house ‘Technical Pathway Program’, an elite training pathway established in 2022. Available to Isuzu UTE Aftersales professionals nationwide, the scheme has currently certified over 200 technicians within the IUA Dealership network.
A significant milestone for IUA, each of the seven successful Master Technicians has proven their expertise across a rigorous multi-year program incorporating comprehensive Bronze-, Silver-, and Gold-level professional benchmarks. The prestigious qualification recognises advanced training and aptitude across diagnostic, mechanical, and specialist fields, with successful recipients entrusted to provide unparalleled mentorship to others. ‘IUA Master Technician’ is the highest level an IUA technician can achieve.
IUA’s debut generation of Master Technicians includes Peter Carter (Blacklocks Isuzu UTE, Lavington, NSW), Daniel Del Zoppo (Big River Isuzu UTE, Berri, SA), Luke Hamilton (Gardner Isuzu UTE, Cannington, WA), Benjamin Pearsall (Jackson Isuzu UTE, Launceston, TAS), Joshua Pederson (Brisbane Isuzu UTE, Brisbane, QLD), Glenn Punch (Southland Isuzu UTE, Cheltenham, VIC), and Mikael Tanzil (Gardner Isuzu UTE, Cannington, WA).
Each graduate was required to complete no fewer than nine three-day courses over a period of three years to qualify for the assessment phase. Final examinations were conducted over two days, with individual testing encompassing product knowledge and practical ability across a variety of simulated vehicle faults.
“We couldn’t be prouder of this outstanding first-ever generation of Australian Isuzu UTE Master Technicians,” says IUA Managing Director Mr Junta Matsui. “Their dedication, professionalism, and passion for the brand are nothing less than inspirational and help to ensure that our customers continue to be in the safest of hands. I look forward to welcoming more Master Technicians to the Isuzu UTE Australia family in the future, as we strive to provide the very highest levels of customer service at Dealerships across the country.”
