Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) is proud to once again lend its support to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation’s annual ‘Day for Daniel’.
Friday the 27th of October marks the Foundation’s national day of awareness, dedicated to promoting its child safety and protection awareness programs
For the past five years, Isuzu UTE Australia has proudly been a supporter of the not-for-profit organisiation, providing a an Isuzu MU-X to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation founders – Bruce and Denise Morcombe – to assist them with the delivery of their safety curriculum to school children across Australia.
“Without the support from our partners, we wouldn’t be able to spread our key ‘Recognise, React and Report’ message throughout Australian schools and communities” said Denise Morcombe – co-founder of the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.
“Day for Daniel is incredibly significant to Bruce and myself. It’s a day of both reflection and advocacy, and each year we are humbled by the united support of the communities involved,” Denise added.
As Australia’s largest child safety campaign, Day for Daniel, through education, advocacy and initiatives help empower children to Recognise, React and Report situations where they feel threatened.
Day for Daniel participants and supporters are encouraged to wear red in solidarity – the signature colour of the foundation – which has dedicated countless resources to promoting the awareness of the vulnerability of children.
