Recognising the outstanding achievements of the Isuzu UTE Dealer Network amidst a year of challenges for the automotive market, Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) has awarded Dealerships for their 2019 achievements at the annual National Dealer Meetings, held across capital cities in each state. 

Headlining the 2020 National Dealer Meetings was IUA’s Dealer Excellence Program (DEP), which was fine-tuned in 2019 to better recognise, evaluate and reflect the efforts of the Dealer network across a variety of key areas. In order to authentically measure Dealer performance, DEP rankings are determined by a number of contributing factors, including sales and aftersales results and the overall customer experience and satisfaction during visits and interactions. 

Taking top honours for 2019 was Ken Mills Isuzu UTE in Kingaroy, QLD who was awarded as the highest performing Dealership for 2019—achieving a 25% sales increase from 2018 and securing an astounding 1st and 2nd for the MU-X and D-MAX respectively in Kingaroy and surrounding areas. Dealer Principal, Ken Mills, praised the persistence and tenacity of his team against the declining automotive market in 2019.

“Having worked alongside the Isuzu UTE Brand since 2017, I could not be more pleased with the performance of my Dealer staff throughout a challenging year in 2019—I speak on behalf of my whole team when I say it is an honour to be recognised alongside an amazing group of Dealerships across the country,” Ken Mills said.

Also presented to a selection of Dealers at the National Dealer Meetings were another two awards—firstly, significant sales milestones awards and secondly, acknowledgment of 10 Years of operation as an Isuzu UTE Dealer. 

“Isuzu UTE Australia congratulates 34 Dealers nationwide who received awards for key sales milestones, with a special thanks going out to the 6 Dealerships who in 2019 celebrated 10 Years of aligning themselves with our brand—it is your continued support that humanizes the durability and reliability we promote in our vehicles,” said proudly, Isuzu UTE Australia Director of Sales and Marketing, Koichiro Yoshida.

Managing Director of Isuzu UTE Australia, Hiroyasu Sato also speaks to the notion that while 2019 was a challenging year across the board for all Automotive brands in Australia, there is no denying that the Isuzu UTE Dealer network continued to thrive in spite of their challenges.
