TEAM ISUZU D-MAX

The Isuzu D-MAX is the official car of Australia’s one and only precision driving team, providing real deal ruggedness and performance to the stunt show.

The team’s performances include close formation driving, high speed drifts and slides, hair-raising cross-overs and ramp jumps and even driving the vehicles on two wheels.

The Team D-MAX show is always a crowd favourite and a spectacle that has to be seen to be believed.

“We’ve obviously got some pretty skilled drivers in the team but the shows we do are a massive test for the vehicles as well,” said EMG Director, Wayne Boatwright.

You can see Team D-MAX in action at agricultural shows and events around Australia each year.

DANIEL MORCOMBE FOUNDATION

The Daniel Morcombe Foundation Inc was established in 2005 as a result of the extraordinary community support shown to the Morcombe family following the abduction and suspected murder of 13 year old Daniel Morcombe on the Sunshine Coast, December 2003.

The Foundation’s motto is “Protection, Safety and Opportunity for our children,” which is enforced by Bruce and Denise Morcombe’s commitment to training and education of school age children.

Isuzu UTE is happy to sponsor the Daniel Morcombe Foundation and provide a vehicle that allows Bruce and Denise to deliver presentations to schools across Queensland, implementing the Daniel Morcombe Child Safety curriculum developed in conjunction with the Department of Education, Training and Employment.

Isuzu UTE Australia partners with Outback Road Safety Initiative

Isuzu UTE Australia has joined forces with police in outback Queensland to assist with their award-winning road safety campaign ‘Stay on Track Outback’.

Targeting nomads around the nation, ‘Stay on Track Outback’ is an awareness program designed to educate tourists unfamiliar with outback traffic hazards such as gravel roads, wildlife crossings and road trains, as well as the risks associated with driving at night and fatigue from driving long distances.

Police say there has been a surge in accidents on outback roads, the majority caused by the inexperience of new nomads – whose years of urban driving does not necessarily equip them for long journeys on the nation's outback highways.

IUA has supplied the Queensland Police Service with a new 4x4 Isuzu D-MAX crew cab ute, which has been fitted out as a fully-operational police vehicle and will be used at both caravanning events and roadside patrols to promote the program.

The Stay on Track Outback website can be found at: http://www.stayontrackoutback.qld.gov.au/

DOUBLE DAN

Double Dan Horsemanship was first founded in 2009 and perform regular entertainment shows and horsemanship clinics around the country – and when you’re towing a precious cargo like their show horses, you need to know you have a vehicle up to the job – that’s why they teamed up with Isuzu UTE!

"There’s plenty of choice when it comes to buying a suitable tow vehicle but after we had a good look around and what everyone was offering, the Isuzu MU-X stood out above the others for a number of reasons. The biggest factor was the value-for-money proposition the Isuzu presented – it proves you don’t need to spend upwards of $80,000 for a decent tow rig. Add to that, it’s 3.0L turbo-diesel is a tried and tested unit with a fantastic reputation for durability and reliability – as well as brilliant fuel economy – so it was a bit of a no-brainer for us!"

To date Double Dan have performed at every major show and rodeo in Australia including the Perth Royal show, Melbourne Royal show, Adelaide Royal show, Sydney Royal show, and overseas at events like Edinburgh Military Tattoo, the National Dressage Championships, the World Equestrian Games, and even made an appearance on 2011 Australia’s Got Talent!
