October 2018 marks a major milestone for Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA), celebrating 10 years since inception in October 2008. Launching locally with the internationally branded D-MAX, IUA took on the ultra-competitive 1-tonne Ute market with its powerful and efficient 3.0L common-rail turbo diesel engine and in doing so not only cemented its position locally, but is also the biggest export market outside of Thailand.

The latest research from Roy Morgan has further validated Isuzu UTE Australia’s (IUA) continual drive for excellence in product reliability and after sales service, with recent reports placing IUA 2 nd for the first 4 months of the year (January to April). Over the last year, IUA’s score was up 2.4% taking it to 96.4% (to the end of April 2018), above the average industry score for overall satisfaction.

Double digit growth for a decade is now a tantalisingly realistic goal for Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) after an extremely strong first half of the year. The ambitious goal was set after 9 years of double digit growth since commencement of business in 2008, with IUA successfully finishing 2017 with 25,804 sales and a 10.4% growth year on year.

In May, we conducted our inaugural National Skills Contest (NSC) at Head Office in Brisbane – a competition for Isuzu UTE Technicians involving tests of knowledge, practical skill and ability, and encouraging them to think outside the ‘gear’ box should an unknown problem arise.
